A long time ago the shepherds of the land grew prosperous for the diligence and care that they put into their fields. Flush with their newfound wealth they ventured into the city night to celebrate. Their drinking turned to eating drugs. They returned and gave these drugs to their animals, bringing the pasture into the world of dreams and shadows. A bridge appeared in the midst of their land. It was lined with delicious food of all sorts, much richer than the humble meals they ate at home. Upon eating this food, they became ghosts and eventually demons, leading the land to fallow.
